Meet The Artist - Jordan Boswell

Jordan Boswell is a traditional multimedia artist from San Diego, California, but grew up in and is currently residing in Nampa, Idaho with their wonderful family, partner, and two cats. Jordan seeks to use their work as an outlet to express the complex experiences with their; identity, paganism, dreams, intimacy, queerness, the natural world, and societal non-conformity. They were a self taught artist as a young child up until they were given opportunities in high school to take both standard and, especially, dual credit art classes with the College of Western Idaho before returning and attending as a Studio Art major. Jordan works with many traditional mediums such as; acrylic, watercolor, graphite, colored pencil, charcoal, alcohol marker, chalk pastel, and ink. They also have some, but more limited, practice in 3-D mediums such as clay and metal alongside their 2-D work.
